Hiroshima’s labor market rapidly recovers – Demand for skilled talent rises

Overcoming the economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Hiroshima’s job market has shown the highest recovery rate in the Chugoku region.
According to the latest data from the Hiroshima Labour Bureau, the unemployment rate has improved to 2.4%, falling below the national average.

The most active recruiting fields are as follows:

• IT & Automation Technology
• Precision Manufacturing Industry
• Tourism & International Service Industry
• Foreign Engineers (especially Vietnamese talent)

Many companies in Hiroshima collaborate with TERASUN to implement recruitment and training programs for Vietnamese engineers.
